Originally introduced to Vestor Partners by Jim Reed, one of the firm's founding partners, I had the opportunity to present a business plan and vision that would lead to a differentiated business with strong growth and profit potential. I became a Vestor sponsored executive in pursuit of specific acquisition opportunities that would serve as the platform to implement our growth strategy.
Over the course of eighteen months of developmental and due diligence activities, I had the chance to work closely with each professional in the organization. Vestor team members participated in selected meetings with key prospects, worked on alternative deal structures and valuations and supported my transaction negotiations before participating in wide-ranging due diligence. Their extensive network of legal, tax, accounting and lending alternatives was utilized to facilitate and structure the acquisition.
On a personal note, Vestor represented a sounding board on multiple aspects of our project. They were supportive counselors that were there when needed through the in depth negotiating process. Their professionalism and business acumen was key contributors to the successful acquisition Color Optics. We are pleased to have their continuing involvement and operational counsel as members of our Board of Directors.
